Maxine Steinman

Maxine Steinman has presented choreography at Joyce Soho, 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Festival, Outlet Dance Project, Westfest Dance Festival, Battery Dance Festival, and others, and in Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, and Taiwan. Called “ingenious” and a “jewel” by Jack Anderson and Jennifer Dunning (NY Times), Maxine has received grants from the O’Donnell Green Music and Dance Foundation and Dance NJ. She has set choreography at Montclair State University, Hofstra University, Marymount Manhattan College, The Ailey School and for conservatories and companies abroad, and is an Associate Professor at Montclair State University with an MFA from UWM.
